Square Blades is the proud 2016-17 sponsor & official leisurewear partner for Oxford University Lightweight Rowing Club. As their official partner we will be providing athletes with a range of exclusive clothing to keep them warm and stylish off the water. Square Blades will also be producing a range of clothing to celebrate the partnership.
The University
Oxford University is the oldest university in the English-speaking word. Along with being famous for its academic excellence, the university is renowned for the annual Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race held on the Thames, London.
The Rowing Club
Founded in 1975, the O.U.L.R.C. is the lightweight rowing programme at Oxford University. Each year the club represents the university in the Lightweight Boat Race, held in Henley-on-Thames during the days leading up to The Boat Race.
The club. also competes at a range of national and international regattas as well as head races during the winter season. Including the Fours and Eights Head of the River Races on the Thames, B.U.C.S. and other prestigious events across Europe and beyond.
The Connection
The Square Blades team are delighted to be working with a team of such dedicated athletes. Their ethos of working hard and training hard is core to what drives the Square Blades brand.
