Barnabé Delarze
Barnabé rows for Lausanne Sport Aviron in Switzerland, and is part of the elite Swiss Rowing National Team.
He started rowing in 2007 after he moved to Lausanne and joined the club there. By 2010 Barnabé had made his way into the Swiss Junior B squad and, after just 3 years, he'd moved up to the national squad - stroking the men's heavyweight quad.
It wasn't long before Barnabé found himself becoming U23 World Champion in the quad, winning at Linz, Austria in 2013 followed by Varese, Italy in 2014.
At the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 Barnabe was stroking the quad, coming 1st in the B Final (7th overall). However, in this Olympic cycle, he's moved to the heavyweight double and has his sights firmly set on Tokyo 2020.
